As the parent or relative of a Becker College student, you are critical in helping support your student through college, and into the workforce.
The Center for Career Education & Advising will support your student’s academic experience, and their career pursuit, every step of the way. Our office has integrated advising and career education to allow the development of a long-term partnership. We help your student navigate their courses and determine how to link what they learn in the classroom to their career passion. Along the way, we help your student determine their experiential learning options including study away, internships and externships.
We offer one-on-one career conversations to help students explore and refine their career goals. We also provide plenty of guidance in essential skills like resume writing, interviewing, networking, and graduate school exploration.
Becker College students have access to jobs, internships, and career events through Handshake and CareerShift, as well as the ability explore career assessments through Focus2.
