The Center for Career Education & Advising will support your student’s academic experience, and their career pursuit, every step of the way. Our office has integrated advising and career education to allow the development of a long-term partnership. We help your student navigate their courses and determine how to link what they learn in the classroom to their career passion. Along the way, we help your student determine their experiential learning options including study away, internships and externships.

We offer one-on-one career conversations to help students explore and refine their career goals. We also provide plenty of guidance in essential skills like resume writing, interviewing, networking, and graduate school exploration.

Becker College students have access to jobs, internships, and career events through Handshake and CareerShift, as well as the ability explore career assessments through Focus2.

You do not have access to your student’s academic records, and their advisor cannot discuss details of your student’s records without their permission. We suggest you speak directly with your student concerning specific academic issues. If your student signs and submits a FERPA Waiver Form, it will allow advisors to share academic information directly with you.
